The Fragrance of Spring on Montgomery in January 19th in 2018

Visit Korea through the cultural arts! The 2018 Korean Cultural Experience returns to Alabama for the musical performance of the "The fragrance of Spring." The performance will be held on Jan 20 at the Davis Theater in Montgomery, and again on Jan 22 at the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts. The Korean Cultural Experience is an annual event inviting Master Korean performing artists from South Korea to perform in Alabama's most prestigious venues to encourage multicultural learning through the Arts. This year's show will feature the musical, Broadway-styled performance of "The Fragrance of Spring," a story about a young girl who overcomes evil and persecution in ancient Korea. The Korean artists will also perform individual showcases of Korean UNESCO intangible cultural heritage properties in song, dance, and musical ensembles.
